The Art of Travel

Packing, planning, and leaving home can often be thought of as a frightening thing. Few things are as exciting as the idea of traveling somewhere else. But the reality of travel seldom matches our daydreams. As an aspiring worldd traveler, my sentiments are the exact opposite. I dream of all of the gorgeous scenes, wealth of historical facts, and the new adventures that await. As a friend to avid travelers Brandon and Angie, I live to hear the details of their various flights and distant excursions.

Traveling can open our eyes to new things and add appreciation to everyday home life.

When thinking of the art of travel, I'd like to look at the ubiquitous but peculiar activity of travelling ‘for pleasure’, with thoughts on airports, landscapes, museums, holiday romances, photographs, exotic carpets and the contents of hotel mini-bars. And most importantly tons of fun ways to enhance my everyday life.
